PRADHAN MANTRI AWAAS YOJANA (PMAY-G) :-

To address the gaps in rural housing programmes and in view of Govt. Commitment to provide “Housing for All” by 2022 this scheme of IAY have been restructure in to PMAY(G) w.e.f. 01/01/2016. It aims at providing a Puacca House with basic amenities to all houseless households and those households leaving in Kucha and dilapidated houses by 2022.

Bhadrak District was allotted target of 11668 no. of PMAY (G) houses for the year 2017-2018. Out of which 5379 no. of houses have already been completed in the mean time. All the Block Development Officers have been instructed to complete the balance houses pending at their level at the earliest. During the current financial year 2018-19, targets of 8593 no. of houses have been received for the Govt. Out of which 219 no. of houses already completed till date. All possible steps have been taken by the District Administration and Block Development Officers to achieve the targets within the stipulated time period. The beneficiaries those who are completing their houses within 4 months after receipt of 1st installment they are being given twenty thousand rupees as incentive and the beneficiaries those who are completing their houses within 6 months of received of 1st installment they being given ten thousand as incentives as per the instructions of PR & DW department.

MAHATMA GANDHI NATIONAL RURAL EMPLOYMENT GUARANTEE SCHEME (MGNREGS) :-

Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme Provides for enhancement of livelihood security of the households in rural areas of the country by providing at least one hundred days of guaranteed ways employment in every financial year to every household whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work.

MGNREGS is being implemented in the Bhadrak District since 01/04/2007. During the financial year 2017-2018 a sum of Rs. 3183.42 lakh has been spent and 53017 nos. of unskilled labours have been provided work generating 1391319 person days & 20 no. of Households have been provided 100 days of work in the financial year. In the current financial year a sum of Rs. 1188.00 lakh have been spent generating 511014 no. of person days and 3369 projects have been completed out of 20040 projects taken up.

GOPABANDHU GRAMIN YOJANA (GGY) :-

Gopabandhu Gramin Yojana is being implemented in Bhadrak District since 2006-2007. The aim of scheme is to construct Cement Concrete Roads in the villages under road sector, Street Lighting project, Lighting at places of mass congregation, Electrification of Govt. Residential/Non-residential School etc. under Bijli Sector and Strengthening of embankment with turfing/stone pitching, field channels, bathing Ghats, guard walls, sluice etc. under water sector can be taken up.
During the year financial year 2017-18, Bhadrak District was allotted a sum of Rs. 801.57 lakh. Out of which an amount of Rs. 405.10 lakh has already been spent completing 195 projects. All Block Development Officer have been instructed to spent the balance fund available with them and submit utilization certificate to the proper quarter.

ODISHA LIVELIHOODS MISSION :-

Odisha Livelihoods Mission is an autonomous society under the aegis of PR & Drinking Water Department. The aim of society is to bring down the rural property by promoting diversified and gainful self-employment to the rural poor. This is a centrally sponsored scheme with a proportionate ratio of 60:40 between central & states. OLM has put in place a dedicated and sensitive support structure to take the rural households out of poverty line through capacity building, financial, assistance and self-reliant institutions.

During the Financial year 2017-2018 expenditure has been made of Rs. 1144.75 lakh against the annual target of Rs. 681.74 lakh. Rs. 7944.94 lakh has been disbursed to 4971 SHGs through SHGs credit linkage. Rs. 97.50 lakh given to 663 SHGs as Revolving Fund .19200 no of House Holds have been covered for Livelihood intervention under Mission Samrudhi.,/p>

BIJU PUACCA GHAR YOJANA (BPGY) :-

Biju Puacca Ghar Yojana has been launched by the State Govt. during the year 2014 to convert all Kucha Houses into Pucca Houses in the rural areas in a mission mode approach. The households whose houses have been fully/severely damaged by natural/man made calamities like fire, flood, cyclone, earthquake, elephant menace, communal violence, LWE violence etc. are the beneficiaries of this scheme.

Bhadrak District was allotted target of 375 no. of BPGY houses for the year 2017-2018. Out of which 99 no. of houses have been completed in the mean time. All the Block Development Officers have been instructed to complete the balance houses pending at their level at the earliest. During the current financial year, target of 1000 no. of houses have been received from the Govt. All Block Development Officers have been instructed to issue Work Orders to the eligible beneficiaries immediately and to take all possible steps for completion of their houses within the stipulated time period. The beneficiaries those who are completing their houses within 4 months after receipt of 1st installment they are being given twenty thousand rupees as incentives and the beneficiaries those who are completing their houses within 6 months of receipt of 1st installment they are being given ten thousand as incentives as per the instructions of PR & DW department.

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY):-

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen KaushalyaYojana (DDU-GKY), a skill development scheme implemented by Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department, Govt. of Odisha for skilling and gainful employment of poor rural youth.

The main aim of the scheme is to equip rural youths with marketable skills to enhance their employability and to secure employment in the organized sector, to bring the working age population of the state to the economic & social mainstream, to harness the demographic dividend and Promoting employability leading to sustainable livelihoods.

The project was initiated during 2014-15 and continued further. Bhadrak District has skilled cumulatively 3687 youths and placed 2627 youths. During last financial year 1323 youths have been trained by Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) and out of that 618 have been placed successfully in various private sectors against the training target of 780. The achievement is around 169% and stands highest amongst all districts in Odisha state.

During the current FY 2018-19, (i.e. during the months of April-May 2018), 197 candidates have been trained and 106 candidates have been placed. Moreover to select deserving right candidates for right trade 6 mobilizations camps have been conducted in the district and 1837 youths have been mobilised to take training. Further it planned to mobilise 4200 youths and provide training 1337 youths and place 937 out of the trained youths during FY 2018-19.
